Like our other seasonal festivals, the Spring Festival creates another welcoming reason for members to spend time together, explore, create, and contribute to a shared world. We’re designing different ways to participate so people can join at their own pace.

Second Haven’s seasonal festivals turn parts of our Minecraft world into shared community spaces. Members can explore what others have created, contribute something of their own, take part in activities, or simply spend time alongside other people.
For our first Spring Festival, we’re developing a setting inspired by growth, color, exploration, and the return of spring. Our community’s ideas help shape the setting and experiences we create.
Shared seasonal builds give members a way to express themselves while contributing to something larger than an individual project. A small garden, decoration, structure, or idea can become part of a place that the whole community experiences.
Discovery can create natural moments of connection. Trails, hidden details, interactive spaces, and other playful elements give people something to experience together without requiring constant conversation or competition.
Welcoming gathering spaces make room for members to pause, look around, chat, watch what’s happening, or simply enjoy being present with other people. Not every meaningful community experience needs to be an organized activity.
Second Haven events grow through community participation. Members can contribute by selecting a site, building, decorating, suggesting an activity, helping with preparation, welcoming other players, or simply showing up and taking part.
The first Spring Festival gives our community an opportunity to create a new seasonal tradition together. Bring your ideas, your creativity, or your willingness to help.

Our festivals create low-pressure opportunities for people to encounter one another repeatedly, share experiences, contribute visibly to community life, and have reasons to come back.
For people who may face barriers to in-person community due to health, disability, neurodivergence, geography, finances, or other circumstances, a shared virtual world can open doors. Through festivals and other events, we make participation possible in different ways.
Someone can race through an activity, spend an afternoon building, wander through the scenery, talk beside a gathering place, or simply be there.
All of those can be ways of belonging.
